The training – conducted by the INFTA-Accredited Training Provider, Institute of Forest Therapy Pty Ltd – is open to national and international applicants on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are 20 exclusive training places available. The language of instruction is English.

These requirements are necessary when becoming a Forest Therapy Guides as you have to be capable of leading diverse groups of people outdoors at different biospheres and locations. Also, a current First Aid certificate and adequate insurance coverage are compulsory for each FTG trainee.
You are requested to book your room individually through the Satchidananda Ashram Yogaville as a Personal Retreat. INFTA has negotiated a special rate for participants for shared Shared Dormitory/Shared Bathroom. To become an INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guide, simply complete and submit the Application Form. Again, please note there are only 20 training spots available for this training cohort. These are reserved in the order of applications received and accepted.

The tuition fees for the six-months training course (Professional Training Course Code: HLTFTG57124, September 2024 to March 2025) amount to USD 3,750.-.

The fees will have to be paid upfront via Stripe® when submitting your application in order to reserve your exclusive training slot. Payment can be made easily online via credit card. Fees do not cover accommodation, transport, insurance or any third-party certificates to be obtained. Please contact us should you need a payment plan.
Cancellation is possible any time prior to 1 August 2024; any cancellation must be submitted to INFTA in written and carries a cancellation fee of USD 500.-. Cancellations after 1 August 2024 are not possible and payments made will not be refundable. The conduct of this training course requires a minimum number of six participants. Should this minimum number not be reached by 15 August 2024, INFTA reserves the right to cancel the training course. The tuition fees for only participating in the five-day INFTA Forest Therapy Introduction at the Satchidananda Ashram Yogaville, 18-22 September 2024 (incl. all training material) amount to USD 700.-. This option is limited to INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides and INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides currently in training (online).
