Professional Development Day – Forest Therapy

Now is an ideal time for our INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides and those who are interested in becoming qualified as INFTA-Certified Forest Therapy Guides to get together for a Professional Development Day in the beautiful surroundings of the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney to exchange ideas, questions and suggestions and to learn from each other.

Please register your attendance for this event. The Professional Development Day takes place at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney, on Sunday, 13 April 2025, from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm.

We will discuss topics including:

  •     Forest Therapy Activities (sharing and learning from each other)
  •     ‘How to’ promote Forest Therapy Walks to the public (what works well)
  •     Enhancing the experience for participants (how to enhance the experience for clients)
  •     Deepening our own connection (how to maintain our own sense of nature-connectedness)

The Professional Development Day will be hosted by Susan Joachim, INFTA’s President and Director of the Institute of Forest Therapy. Meg  Bracken, a dedicated INFTA-Accredited and Certified Forest Therapy Guide and Susan will to make this event a successful and enjoyable day.
