INFTA-Certified and Accredited Forest Therapy Guides wishing to extend their accreditation with INFTA are required to use the INFTA CPD Application Form below. Please read carefully the requirements for obtaining or extending accreditation with INFTA.
INFTA-Certified and Accredited Forest Therapy Guides have to participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
To uphold accreditation, an INFTA-Certified and Accredited Forest Therapy Guide is – within each year – expected to:
If you have compiled all relevant information and wish to extend your accreditation with INFTA, please fill in the required information on the INFTA CPD Application Form tab.
Accreditation with INFTA is on an annual basis (i.e., accreditation is awarded for 12 months), in parallel to INFTA’s financial year (1 July to 30 June the following year). The annual accreditation fee has to be paid upfront once accreditation is granted by INFTA.
Please ensure that you keep evidence of each of the guided Forest Therapy walks which you have conducted (e.g., images, feedback forms, flyers). INFTA may conduct an audit of the information you have provided in the application for accreditation.
The fee for accreditation with INFTA as INFTA-Certified and Accredited Forest Therapy Guide amounts to AUD 120.00 per year (12 months). This annual accreditation fee is due upfront after accreditation for another 12 months has been granted by INFTA.
Failure to pay the accreditation fee within 10 business days results in the cancellation of the accreditation with INFTA. Reapplication for accreditation is possible upon written request only and incurs an additional administrative fee of AUD 50.00 on top of the annual accreditation fee of AUD 120.00.
