INFTA endorses Forest Therapy in Israel

Requested by researchers in Israel, Dr. Dieter Kotte, INFTA´s Secretary & International Strategic Advisor, congratulated the participants of a symposium held at a private nature reserve outside Tel Aviv, to consider implementing Forest Therapy nationwide. In order to reduce the stress levels and rising costs for treatment of lifestyle-related diseases in Israel, high-level stakeholders met to discuss possibilities to integrate Forest Therapy into the Public health system. In his greetings and video message, Dr. Kotte endorsed the economic, health and community benefits of Forest Therapy. He also stressed the importance of a concerted effort bringing together stakeholders and the necessary resources to develop the required international standards in training, research as well as the need to monitor & evaluate efforts and progress regularly. Dr. Kotte offered the researchers in Israel INFTA´s advice and international support network when implementing Forest Therapy into the Public health network.
