Our Brand Evolution
As INFTA has grown globally, so too has the diversity of people, organisations, and communities we serve.
Our original logo was created with strong scientific intent, drawing directly on the molecular structure of phytoncides — the natural compounds released by trees that underpin the evidence base of Forest Therapy.
Our refreshed logo is not a reinvention — it is a refinement.
What has stayed the same?
The science remains central
The new symbol still references molecular bonds and connections, preserving the integrity of the original phytoncide concept. Our credibility and evidence base are unchanged
INFTA continues to stand for rigorous research, professional standards, and global leadership in Forest Therapy training. Our purpose is intact
Supporting human and ecological wellbeing remains at the heart of everything we do.
What has changed?
Greater clarity and warmth
The complex molecular structure has been simplified into a dot-and-line form that is easier to recognise, more human in feel, and more emotionally resonant.A clearer connection to nature
The icon now subtly forms a leaf-like silhouette — grounding the science visually in the natural world it serves.A more unified identity
The updated system brings INFTA and IFT together under one cohesive visual language, allowing flexibility across education, research, public health, and community settings.Improved accessibility and scalability
The refined icon, typography, and colour palette perform more effectively across digital platforms, certificates, publications, and international campaigns.
Why this matters
This evolution allows us to communicate with greater confidence and clarity — whether we are speaking to researchers, councils, health professionals, guides, or individuals beginning their Forest Therapy journey.
It reflects who we are today: scientific and human, evidence-based and emotionally engaging, global yet grounded.
Our new logo honours the molecules of trees and the pathways of human healing — expressed in a way that is calmer, clearer, and more welcoming to all.
